Recap From My Trip to Italy

The other week, I got back from a trip to Italy, where I was doing research for my upcoming 2022 trips! I spent most of my time in the city of Naples, and then 2 days in Salerno, which is the on the southern end of the Amalfi Coast.

I stayed in 8 different hotels, so that I can see which ones would be good for the tours, and went on some tours in and around Naples & then Salerno!

My first day, I took a round trip nonstop flight on United from Newark NJ to Rome (Fiumicino Airport). TIP! If you fly at night, you can sleep on the plane and its morning when you arrive!!!

The first thing I did after passport patrol was to grab some Italian style breakfast: a Cappuccino, Cornetto with Crème, and a fresh squeezed orange juice (Spremuta). All that for 6 euros!

After, I went to check out the Covid testing center at the airport. For now, the rules require Americans to get an Antigen test before we fly back to the US. It is required to get the test NO great than 24 hours before your flight.

Covid tests at the airport are on the same level as baggage claim. It takes about 15 min and it is open 7am to 12:30am each day. It costs 20 euros.

Stay tuned for some more recap posts of my trip!
